Class fees are due by the 10th of every month. After the 10th of the month a $10 late fee per class will be applied. There will be a $40 fee on all NSF checks. Each student’s tuition must be paid in full regardless of attendance. Students pay a flat monthly rate although the calendar may sometimes give students extra classes. This offsets classes missed due to holidays.

Our program runs consecutively from September through June. Students will be automatically enrolled each month unless we receive notification of withdrawal. You will be responsible for full payment for the month you withdrawal from.
There is a $20 annual registration fee if you register before the completion of our 2011 season. If you register after the season ends the register fee will be $25.

The correct attire for class is a black leotard, white, pink or tan tights for ballet, lyrical, pointe. The younger students may wear any light color leotard and skirt. The proper attire for jazz, tap, hip hop, and musical theatre class is a leotard with dance shorts or long dance pants solid black. Acro/Gym attire is a leotard or bike-a-tard (shorts attached). Hair must always be away from the face and secured in a bun or ponytail. All dance shoes must be purchased from JSD only. Please put your child’s name in their dance shoes. We cannot be responsible for lost shoes.
Students must be on time for class and try not to leave early unless it is an emergency or important event. Interruption of class is both distracting to students as well as teachers. Parents please do not leave your child more than 10 minutes before or after class. Do not bring siblings or friends to class we cannot be responsible for children unattended. Students and parents should always have a positive attitude and keep gossip out of the studio. Everyone is asked to clean up after themselves and to respect all studio property.
Students are to be on time and present for their classes. It is very vital that students warm up appropriately to avoid injury. Please notify the studio if your child is not attending class. Students must not exceed more than 5 missed classes. If you are absent due to a vacation you are still responsible for full payment of that month.

In case of inclement weather we will be following the Elizabeth School District decision. If weather worsens later in the evening you should check our voice mail or website. Holiday closings are posted in the calendar section.
All students are encouraged to participate in our annual recital. This is an exciting rewarding experience when students demonstrate their talents and abilities. Performing on stage helps develop self-confidence, self-esteem and a sense of accomplishment. Note: We cannot be held responsible for costumes and videos not picked up within 30 days of recital.
